This website is losing its identity. I'm not interested in hearing about some vague future vision, what I see is a platform with nothing but social verifications. What's the point? Isn't Facebook enough?

As soon as Fab introduced the 'Fabbing' of pics well over a decade ago it basically became Facebook with boobs and willies. It's just another form of social media for people to get self affirmation and their dopamine fix.

We all know the accounts that post daily or the ones begging for 'fabs'. Is it Swinging? Not in my book but nor is it doing any harm. Easy just to skip over.

Fab is a business and so are the clubs and a lot of the social events (though not all). There is money to be made from horny people. Again, as long as people aren't being ripped off, it's just part of the scene.

How people choose to use Fab is their business and no one else's. Everyone has the opportunity to ignore things they're not interested in.

For instance, my update list has a lot of single guys moaning about not getting meets when they've made zero effort with their profile. Yes it's annoying but I just ignore it.

People use Fab to suit their own selves. Just as we use any social platform for our own purposes.

I dislike seeing ‘we are all here for the same thing’ written on profiles. We are not. And that is okay.

That's a good point, but for people like me who were hoping for more action, it is a bit disappointing.

Obviously, people are free to use the platform as they please, but that's not its intended purpose.

I'm sharing my opinion, and it's frustrating that the platform has more similarities to Facebook than I was expecting. Telling me that 'how people use it is their business' misses the point and just make it more similar to Facebook than I was expecting...

The Vaguebook-style pish and humblebrags on the Status Updates are by far the most annoying thing on this whole site

🤣🤣🤣 this is comedy gold. You'd of been better holding a sign that says you dont understand the scene. You not helping self and sound very bitter. Its just not fair!!! Folk make of it what they will. The social side is at least if not more important than the play.

I see totally different opinion but still an opinion.

"The social side is at least if not more important than the play" not in this contest, but absolutely right if we're talking about Facebook...

Why does that bother you? Nothing to do with you. Their choice. Forsnt put me up nor down. Has no bearing on anything.

We've become real life and Facebook friends with a lot of fabbers so I'd say that no, it's not.

I’m in agreement. We are not here all for the same thing judging by what I see. Just enjoy it for how you see fit.
