outside your bedroom window ;-)

So...I was on holiday there and for the first time noticed an abundance of people using the gym.

Now in my world you go on holiday to relax, chill, eat and drink a tad too much.

So my question is, has something changed and now am I the anomaly and the normal is to keep training, even on a holiday?

The gym is the last place I would go if I were on holiday.

I would rather do yoga on the beach, swim or climb hills and walk in the sun for exercise.

I keep training on a holiday, maybe less frequent but still because if I stop then it would be like starting from beginning. Also I don't find the gym stressing, on the contrary it calms me down.

In the west.

I do loads of walking when I’m on holiday. A few weeks ago I did 250k steps in 2 weeks.

I have go to a gym whist on a cruise, but only because I had been training a lot and wanted to keep my fitness levels up.

For some people I’m guessing it could be just trying to maintain some sort of normal routine, or using that time as “me” time to focus on something without distraction or even just to feel more alive and wake from the holiday lull.

But they’re probably really just there to perv at others lol !
