What is you favourite cocktail?
Been asked to help organise a cocktail night in the run up to Christmas, its for a local charity/organisation.
Need some inspiration for some relatively simple (& cheap) to make cocktails but was hoping for something a little bit different to the norm.
Internet search is totally overwhelming.

A peachy Pina is an interesting twist on the classic Pina Colada
35- 50 mls vodka
35- 50 mls coconut rum (Malibu or similar liqueur strength)
35-50 mls single cream
110-150 mls pineapple juice
Shake with ice and serve |

Sex on the beach. Easy peasy and ingredients not too expensive or requiring fresh fruit etc.
I have also had a cocktail that was vodka, cola cube liquor, fresh orange and lemonade and it tasted just like a fruit salad sweetie. Haven’t seen cola cube liquor in a long time though |

There are some really good pre-made Margaritas on the market now. You can get a 75cl of Altos Margarita for £12 on deal in Asda. About £3 per serve and all done for you. Just chill it!
How many people is it for?
The other option is making a punch... Feel free to message me if you want more info or recipes |

Why not look to making a couple of different punches for the start of the evening - saves being overwhelmed with needing to make lots of drinks all at the same time.
Then offer maybe 3-5 made to orders.
Perhaps
Moscow mule
Woowoo (both vodka based)
Rusty nail (whisky based)
Tom Collins (gin based).
Make sure you have LOTS of ice.
Prepare garnishes in advance

Cheap and cheerful is a sex on the beach (vodka, peach snapped, orange and cranberry) and as its Christmas theme just pour more cranberry juice than the orange juice 2 make it more wintery coloured 😀. |

Can I suggest a French martini?
50ml/ vodka
15ml _aspberry liqueur
35ml pineapple juice
All can be bought from Aldi. Shake over ice, strain into a cocktail glass. Cheap and pretty good, easy to make. |
