Saw another post here about shared interests outside of fab, and thought that it might be a good idea to break the ice in a socialish setting, so just to see if there was any interest, I thought I’d ask the question.
Anybody interested in a road cycling group of like minded people? Be really good if we could get a mixed group for a coffee shop run?
I’m based in Fife close to the bridge so anywhere central Scotland would work for me.
Might not be a goer, but if there is interest I don’t mind organising. Nothing crazy, maybe 15 mph average or less. Group ride means we stick together though 😂 |

"And here's me thinking this site was for swinging and secual adventure? Though I did see a video on FB of a woman riding a bike with a dildo on the seat- the world is going to 💩"
It does beg the question as to why you bothered to post a comment then? Surely some people prefer to meet socially to break the ice before anything “secual” happens.
This isn’t a rebuke by the way, meant as light hearted banter, hopefully accepted in the manner it is intended |

"I like that route no done for a while, as I am with Livingston cycling club and I ride a pinarello x3 di 2"
Drop me a line and I’ll let you know my timings if you fancy a spin out? Merida of some kind I’ve got. Bit afraid of the electronic shifting as heard some horror stories about limp mode lol |

Well last week was a bit of a bust, so thought I’d try again. Saturday morning rode. Meet at south queensferry about 930? Let me know if anybody fancies a spin? |

"I’m going to suggest that this concept is not a goer. Oh well, it was really nothing more than a thought! "
It’s a shame because I really like the sound of this although you’re all a bit far to make it do-able for me
We have a local cycling group but they’re all what I’d call hardcore and I know I’d hold them back |

"I’ve been using MyWhoosh, apart from the annoying frequent updates it’s pretty decent, and free which is always nice"
I only gave a “dumb” turbo trainer so none of these apps really work for me.
Love the idea of a cycling group but it does seem a bit of a non-starter |

"Waiting on my smart kickr roller
Was thinking of sharing it from my phone to TV
Can you still run the companion app in the background "
Is that with Zwift? I do something similar, have my phone as the companion app on a handlebar mount but run Zwift itself through Apple TV |

"Just back from a cold wet 35 mile road ride, feel much better after it"
I’m just leaving the Canary Islands after a week cycling in the sun. Not looking forward to digging out the waterproofs when I’m home again lol think Zwift will be calling |

"Do u need the companion app as I just have my phone and no other tablets "
You could do without it , it’s not a must have thing. It can be helpful for certain interactions though and through Apple TV’s own Bluetooth you’re limited to 2 connections which is a bit of a pain. Through the companion app you can connect 6 so I can use my cadence and hear rate sensors as well as the trainer itself |

I’m planing to cycle a version of GB 4 extreme points of mainland Britain, over 11 days starting on the 1st of July 2026, that you can get to by road.
Stating at the northern point Dunnet Head just outside of Thurso.
Then going to the most western point (Ardnamurchan Lighthouse). I know that technically that Corrachadh Mòr is most western point but it’s not that accessible by road bike.
Then most Eastern Pont (Ness point, Lowestoft) and on to the most southern point (The Lizard, Cornwall)
But I will be taking in the highest and lowest road, the centre point of mainland Britain and the point furthest from the sea.
Have cycled in parts of Scotland, Cumbria & Yorkshire before as well as predominately around the south and south west of England.
Would like to hear advice on roads, ferries, coffee stops etc.
More than welcome for anyone to join me for any part of this event, even for just a couple of kms to give words of encouragement.
Let me know if you want to know more about this and planned itinerary.

People who watch porn as a rule of sex will never understand the connection and trust required to swing. That's why so many still have simple level 1 fantasies |

"I have the smart kickr roller
I done 8 sportives last year
And every year I do the devil in Wales
136 miles,5 mountains ,11000 ft o climbing "
Then you want to have a go at the La Purito sportive in Andorra.
14000 ft climbing on 5 Pyrenean mountains over 72 miles…..
One word….. Brutal. 🤪 |

"Love to plus the apple cross and the bealack on the list"
My challenge next year of doing the extreme points of mainland Britain unfortunately doesn’t take in either Bealach na Ba or Applecross.
I’m saving those for another cycle trip….😀 |

"The one I am contemplating it's for doddie triple crown
Cycling from Melrose to irland
As part of a relay team "
I would like to have a go at Ireland in a Day, solo or with someone who is equally masochist, in the next year or so.
Cycling Malin Head to Mizen Head in 24 hours straight.
