Only recently getting back into things again after a long hiatus. Was never interested in clubs before but now I find myself curious...a bit of a fear of the unknown though. Nervous to take that step.
Any recommendations for newbies and what to expect? |

Just think of it as an oversized house-party.
Don't go along expecting anything, except for a night out with a load of like-minded folks.
Just remember, you're only ever paying for entry to the club, you don't have to do anything at it. Unless you go to a club with a Lingerie night on.
Given your location, I'd sy to go to CJ's. If it's too close to home for your liking, then go to AD. However remember if you meet anyone there, that you knw? Then they're there for the same reason as you. A fun night out!

I went along to AD last night after a long hiatus from the clubs and Im very glad I did, was lovely to get back out and chat to like minded people and see what is happening outwith the cyber space.
Go and see what the clubs have to offer, there is no expectation to play. I enjoyed just getting my bearings and seeing what the night was like and watching what was happening around me so that I feel more knowledgeable for returning.
AD staff were fantastic, tour round and happy to chat about anything. I'm glad I put my big girl pants on and braved walking in alone. Hope you find it the same if you decide to venture out. |
