See so many posts in this forum asking if people are into various hobbies and asking if people would be interested in a likeminded meet up.
So far this year I’ve seen camping, photography, hill walking, roof tents, campervans.
Every subject seems to have lots of comments from people saying they would be up for a group meet up but never actually see any follow up of things being arranged. We’ve tried to organise a campervan get together a few times and it’s always been well received with many people saying how they’d love to but whenever it comes to actually getting definite answers from people it just falls quiet.
Seen others having the same issues with other topics. Is it that people are just full of sh*t or is there a reason none of these ever actually happen?
Scottish forum especially just seems to go round in circles every 6 months or so with the same old reoccurring topics with the same old comments but nothing ever actually coming to fruition. |

I agree it does seem to go round in circles.
It's a good thought for people but putting it into reality isn't always easy with life's other commitments.
I get away once or twice a year for about a week at a time with non fabsters.
That's not always easy to set up either |
