I’m assuming the majority of this forum are voting reform, myself included.

Do you think a reform government would help the swingers scene more than the SNP?

"Farage is such an obvious fraud you would need to have shit for brains to vote for him."

They all are, decades of failure… on every front. Hammering taxpayers year after year. Those established parties, do not deserve any vote but sadly, people keep voting for failure in the hope for change.

Thinking Reform is a different vote than an established party is a bit naive, for me.

By the month they swell their ranks with Tory defectors and all they have are traditional Tory policies.

They wouldn’t be any change on the running theme of the past decade.

100% agree.

A Reform UK government want to make British citizens their number one priority in Britain, and are the only political party doing so.

How can anyone argue against that?

You can disagree with Reform UK without using ableist insults or writing off everyone who supports them. The “want our country back” slogan is vague, and it’s fair to ask what people mean by it, but the way to get a real answer is by discussing policy and ideas, not by attacking people.

If you want productive debate, should challenge arguments, not insult individuals.

Well companies like Starbucks and Amazon avoid tax. Their combined tax bills would fund the NHS probably. But hey, it's not their fault. It's the brown dude you should worry about. Every year the gap between the top 1% and the rest gets bigger, and you lot think it's gonna get better if you stop immigration? I'm married to an immigrant, I was raised by one, so this subject bothers me. Yes i would openly avoid anyone who admitted voting for Reform. That vote, says so much about you and your values.. i would have nothing in common with you. So why waste my energy and time.

Firstly you have no idea who I vote

Secondly Amazon contributed nearly £6 billion in tax in the uk last year and since 2010 have made direct investments of nearly £60 billion and plan another £40 billion

It employes 75,000 people, many of which are immigrants so can you tell me what your issue with Amazon is?

If you are on here and think Farage is a good fit for your lifestyle then you are seriously deluded. More likely as has been previously shown SNP are the party of the non sexual conformists.

I won’t vote reform, I don’t vote at all and I certainly don’t like farage. He’s not a friend of Scotland. There are policies I agree with like getting rid of net zero but the snp, labour, Lib Dem’s and tories all have at least one policy I agree with so I don’t align myself with any party or label myself as either left or right wing.

People who affect your everyday life negatively are not arriving in boats, they arrive in suits and limos.

You have to be a special kind of gullible if you think refugees/asylum seekers have any material affect on this nation.

Meanwhile, £Billions was lost to the lie that was Brexit, and Covid fraud. Who was behind that? Well one of them leads a limited company called Reform.

I keep seeing the phrase "illegal immigrants" bandied about when it seems it refers to genuine asylum seekers and refugees. One of the current issues is that our government has removed many of the legitimate routes to seeking asylum. The numbers being accommodated could be reduced significantly if we didn't have such a huge backlog of unprocessed claims for asylum. But it's so much easier to call them all illegals isn't it?

All politicians are conmen mate that’s the game. But we still have to live with the country they shape. If Reform end up offering a safer, more stable place for my kids to grow up, I’ll vote for that. And so will a lot of people.

Fear drives voters, and voters follow whatever’s on the ballot. Change doesn’t need to be poetic or complex; it just needs to be better than what we've got. That’s democracy.

What’s your solution? Another 50 years of Labour–Tory tennis? Or a protest vote for the SNP who promise independence but can’t deliver it anytime soon? What happens to the rest of us while they’re working on it?

Do you think a reform government would help the swingers scene more than the SNP?

I haven't even scrolled through the comments yet... why on earth would you assume that the majority will vote Reform? How much information has to be broadcast about them and their members before everyone realises they are a bunch of shysters? The very name of their party is ironic. They don't want to reform anything. "

Dover to Scotland is a doddle. Compared to the journey people make to get to France in the first place. Not exactly boatloads of Frenchmen coming over

Why on earth would you vote for a Party, whose ex Leader in Wales, is currently waiting for the High Court to sentence him for taking bribes from Putin?

I stopped at that point. Many politicians are decent people who want to make difference. Perhaps you need to see what they do and support behind the scenes? There are also better places to be conmen than Westminster...

Aren't we getting closer to ending politics as we know it. No party is capable of governing the country.

We need to think of a new way forward. Nonidea what it is. But the total nonsense from all parties in the last 10 years, surely shows we are coming to the end of the status quo

Calling them fascist is just lazy. There's nothing wrong with national identity, everyone is entitled to it.

Also Reform haven't actually been in power so you can't judge them yet. All we can do is listen to the available parties and weigh it up and vote. That's democracy my guy.

The problem with Reform is they have very few candidates that have the experience to run the country, on saying that, they have ruffled a few of the long standing politicians who have been on a free ride for years and I am talking about all the other parties as well.

Every day it seems now that there is proof of corruption and dishonesty within politics at an alarming level. No one knows where the money really goes.

Reform need to get votes to get a few candidates voted in, just to get experience and maybe within the next two parliaments they would gain sufficient knowledge of how things work. That's if they can control the Civil servants, not the easiest thing to do, they are the real power!

It's clear labour and the Tories have had their day, greens and liberals I don't think are going any further so we do need politicians than can learn to work alongside other parties for the benefit of the country and not be about where their next votes are coming from. Sad really just how much in the gutter the current government and politicians really are..

I don't think any of us really know who to vote for as their policies are only there for the election and forgotten about once they are in power.. I could go on and on, but that's my thoughts and my rant is over.

I’m with you. At some point we’ve got to stop letting the fear of being judged scare us away from trying something different. I don’t blame anyone for being cautious, but we can’t just stagger along the same road forever. I’d roll the dice. That’s the beauty of democracy nd if Reform get a shot and they’re pish, the country will show them the door at the next election. Simple.

And on that whole ‘racism’ accusation that gets thrown around any time borders or national policy are mentioned... people need to calm down. Wanting secure borders and a government that looks after the people who already live here isn’t hateful. It’s literally what every functioning country on the planet does. It doesn’t mean excluding the world; it just means running things responsibly. We shouldn’t be terrified of being labelled something we’re not for saying the obvious. Nobody’s calling for anything extreme – we’re talking about protecting our country, our communities, and the democratic system that lets us fix mistakes if we make them.

You’ve put words in my mouth. I never endorsed privatising the NHS or scrapping the minimum wage. Reform’s own manifesto literally says the NHS stays free at the point of use — they just want to use spare private capacity, which every government already does, if it's pish (5 years then they're out, I'm rolling that dice). And there’s nothing in their policy about ‘dismantling’ the minimum wage either.

You jumped straight to the most extreme interpretation just to score a point. Debate what was actually said, not what you wish I’d said.

Farage was on the TV only last week saying that the national minimum wage was costing too much and do. We need it....

A quote from farage....thats back door privatisation, I wonder who owns the forms offering this re-funded NHS services....

However, Mr Farage has also said repeatedly that he believes the NHS’s funding model should be rethought. On 28 March, while again saying he believed the service should be free at the point of delivery, he reportedly told the BBC: “Everyone knows we are not getting value, let’s re-examine the whole funding model and find a way that’s more efficient.”

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck....its a duck.

All this gaslighting and scaremongering from a "quiet man".

Wow!!

"

His friends are probably making money off the services I agree. All political parties do the same, this isn't new.

As for the rest, re-thought and re-examine isnt exactly Doomsday, apocalyptic nazi Germany language.

Thanks for making my point for me.

Keep quacking

Nobody’s calling for anything extreme – we’re talking about protecting our country, our communities, and the democratic system that lets us fix mistakes if we make them."

The UK borders are secure, yes "boat people arrive" and are picked up by the coastguard and then the police.

They are processed by Border Force officials, so they aint "undocumented" as it is wildly claimed.

"People need to calm down" (about racism)...oh please!

I doubt you have encountered racist comments directed at you...

Has anyone ever shouted "go back to where you came from?" at you??!?

Has anyone ever said "deport em all " at you??

Reform and their rhetoric have such comments mainstream and normal. Any news article about a coloured person with a comment section, you will find "deport" in the comments. No such comment exists if a white man/woman is accused of any crime.

Brexit is and was a shambles. The little facist is banging on about getting rid of the ECHR...but unable to explain what the benefit is/will be.

Yes we live in a democracy, you can vote for the party of your choice...but its always easy to destroy something and much harder to build...

Reform is full of Tory’s that previously f***ed our country and economy up. So why would you think it’d be any different under what is essentially a rebranded branch of the Tory party, except this time with f***ing idiots on board like Nadine Dorres etc. I get that our political system is largely broken but I’ll tell you now that Reform are most definitely not the answer, if anything they’ll make it all 10 times worse

Can you point us in the direction of any politician in past 20 years from any party who has been successful in improving the country for the betterment of the population?

Reform have no interest in Scotland at all. Not one policy directed here. Voting for them is to have us reduced to a lower level than even the Tories wanted us. You might be a sub but get get off your knees occasionally.

"The problem with Reform is they have very few candidates that have the experience to run the country, on saying that, they have ruffled a few of the long standing politicians who have been on a free ride for years and I am talking about all the other parties as well.

Didn't quite work for the people of Germany in the period 1933 to 1945.

Lessons from history should be etched into people's minds about facism and right wing nut jobs.

Nationalism and facism are different cheeks of the same arse 🥷"

Well said. Which is why the SNP changed their name from 'Nationalist to National'

They told us to vote brexit to "take back our borders." That didn't work. Farage and ukip disappeared and let the shit hit the fan. Why does anyone think putting him in number 10 will "stop the boats?" Labour sat on the sidelines for years telling us to vote for them and they will fix the uk. 1 year down and it's worse. Yet, Farage and his band of weasels are not only going to fix the uk but are going to help Scotland? Offt, be very careful what you vote for folks.

I agree with all that.

The only thing I think worth adding, and I'm speaking as a Civil Servant, is that it wouldn't have mattered who got elected last time round. Things were always gonna get worse, things are gonna carry on being difficult, and not much is gonna change for a long time.

Pretty much is in a difficult spot. It doesn't matter which party is in control.

They're all gonna have to deal with the same issues.

Create a new Department of Immigration, freeze "non-essential" immigration, and take Britain out of the European Convention on Human Rights to control who enters the country

Invest 17 billion into the NHS

Anyone that argues that reform won’t change or are frauds etc need to look at the argument for independence

Sometime you need to take a risk for change.

I have voted snp for ages but they are ruining this country with their woke bs and the windfall tax, I know a few of the huge companies like Robert mcalpine, b&k Exxon etc have pulled out of Scotland because the tax is huge on them.

So yeah reform last time and reform this time because change needs to happen and let’s be clear since labour lost Scotland years ago they’ve done f all to fix it.

Their immigration policies for one. You obviously don’t live in an area where everyone’s clothes are still wet from the English Channel

Moving away from immigration, which of their policies make sense? It's obvious that Reform have difficulty agreeing on any other topics

Getting rid of net zero targets, tax breaks for emergency services, tax breaks for small businesses and getting rid of the tv licence

Why is getting rid of net zero targets a good thing?

Because it’s the biggest con going. Remember all the nonsense before about holes in ozone layers lol

I guess you think Covid was a lie as well "

Why would you guess that?

"Anyone that argues that reform won’t change or are frauds etc need to look at the argument for independence

Lol BS on all levels, why make crap up? "

What part of that is BS?

Which part is BS?

Fact is; Chevron, ExxonMobil, Marathon and ConnocoPhilips have sold all North Sea assets due to massive windfall tax and Apache are in process of selling up right now

ExxonMobil as you will be aware is shutting down it's Mossmorran Holdings guess why??? Because North Sea oil and gas is far too expensive due to windfall tax on north sea developers.

Crude is far cheaper in Asia and USA and as ExxonMobil is a business corporation with responsibilities to shareholders they will go where profits are higher.

"Abolish stamp duty on properties up to

750,000, cut corporation tax, and introduce no income tax for those earning under 20,000 per year.

Create a new Department of Immigration, freeze "non-essential" immigration, and take Britain out of the European Convention on Human Rights to control who enters the country

Invest 17 billion into the NHS

All sounds good on paper, will it happen absolutely not

"

You really can't discuss them without mentioning immigration can you?

Despite all their rhetoric they don't have a concrete proposal as to how they will prevent it

Even if they do succeed this simply doesn't provide a basis for successful government

What are their policies on housing, child poverty and unemployment?

This one trick pony simply won't be capable of running the country

Everyone wants a change to the normal swing back and forth, (no pun intended btw), but Reform are not the knights in White armour, (pun intended). F#ck racism in all its forms regardless of how bad youre told things are.

Nah, voting SNP shows no intelligence, not a lack of it!

White armour? I thought it was a white knight in shining armour- but that might be racist!

It's BS along with every single other thing Reform claim/promise. They're using the Trump playbook, create false problems, get the media to report it, shout and lie enough about them and it becomes the norm, the gullible lap it up thinking it needs fixed and their lives will be better as a result.

It wont, it gets worse. As the USA.

"People worrying about boats with immigrants, coming to try make a living and survive. But oblivious to the millionaires stealing everything from them and pointing at the boats and saying it's them! Farage is a Russian stooge, who has openly tried to screw this country over. But yet some people still think he's looking out for you? Unless you have a bank account with over a million in it... he's not looking out for you."

That’s a big assumption!

Reform are just another bunch of establishmentarians, who want to keep the wee sma folk in check, by creating division by ‘othering’ people who are different.

Labour have deserted the working people, for a redcoats version of Toryism. If you want real change best option is the Break Up of Britain.

I find it insane that people block others because they have a different political opinion on a sex site

Imagine wanting everyone to think the same as you

Thankfully I’m more open minded than that

The choice of someone's political views tells you the kind of person they are. I have no interest in meeting hateful people so blockity block

The left wing are as hateful as the right. How do you determine how hateful someone is based on what political party they support lol

Well wanting to vote in a racist right wing party who's whole political party and policies revolves around keeping brown people out and "stopping the boats" is a pretty big statement of what a person values. To claim that this is "just a different opinion" is both wrong and laughable.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and everyone is entitled to judge you for that opinion.

End of the day, this is a site to meet people who you want to talk to and play with. So stating it shouldn't matter if you have a different opinion is mental. I mean you are not stating that you prefer pineapple on a pizza. How can you have sex with someone who has completely different values. Don't play devils advocate and pretend that it's not a big deal to be a racist... it is, and you should be ashamed of it people.

I’ve not seen anything racist at all.

For me when I’m choosing a sexual partner I look for chemistry, confidence and if I’m physically attracted to them.

Imagine taking someone home that ticks all your boxes and you’re about to jump into bed then you say “I forgot to ask do you like kier starmer or Nigel farage” I would just pump them harder if they gave the wrong answer

Key word chemistry. I'm not blocking anyone, but this allows me to see who i have absolutely nothing in common with. And a big part of this is respect, and i have no respect for anyone who thinks reform is a positive move. They're the same people who think Trump is a laugh and was a good choice. Look how that worked out.

I’m not that interested in American politics or British politics for that matter so I’m not sure how things are going for America. Personally speaking I don’t care what people’s political or religious beliefs are if I’m meeting them for sex.
