Hi folks, looking for a bit of advice.
Wife and I are visiting Edinburgh shortly and we fancy visiting a strip club. She’s never been before and I’ve been to a few over the years for stags etc.
Have any couples been to any of the Edinburgh clubs and how was the experience? Welcoming or a bit standoffish? Does anyone also know about club rules in respect of private lap dances? Last time I was in a club in Glasgow, the dancers kept a strict metre distance from me, not like previous dances years ago where there was grinding etc from the dancer. Have rules changed?
Both myself and the wife are wanting a bit more personal show, within reason obviously. |

"Been a while but the only 3 in town now are the pubic triangle up at toll cross. Been years since I went but why bother with that when there's After Dark? "
Yeah I’ve seen them, probably where we would head. It’s a toe dip into the wife being close to another girl. We aren’t at after dark point and reckon that would intimidate us. Baby steps just now |

"I used to be a doorman at the fantasy bar and fantasy palace and we used to get quite a few females come in and have dances "
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the rules in private lap dances now? If you negotiate, can dancers touch? Don’t want to waste our time on a very distant dance |

"We were in one in Glasgow a few months ago. Got a private couples dance and the dancer was touching my wife and my wife was allowed to touch her. I just enjoyed the show "
Now that sounds like a helluva lot of fun |

My husband and I went to a strip club in Glasgow. We got a joint dance. It was fun, all the 2m it lasted , but I wouldn't do it again.
It was clear they thought we were a lot d*unker than we were and were looking for the hard sell, so definitely wouldn't be back.

They will be looking for the hard sell as the girls have house fees and cuts to cover before they make a bean. They don’t get paid an hourly guarantee. If clubs had a fairer structure, maybe that wouldn’t be necessary. |

Haven’t been for many years but I always liked the Western. More of a genuine vibe as opposed to going through the motions. Same with Legs and co back in the day ? I’m not too fussed with fake tits and Botox lol |

As far as I’m led to believe they do allow couples. There is a but though…. But only if they have female security team member working that night. This is what we were told from all 3 a few years back at the pubic triangle when we tried to get in. How true that is a don’t know.
They said it’s for insurance reasons because in the past punters have gotten a bit handsy with other men’s wives and therefore the female security needs to stay close to the wife.
Don’t take that as gospel, just what we experienced a few years ago in Edinburgh |
