I enjoyed them, what's your running like?
Some courses can have a lot of running between collections of obstacles.
Where are you coming from, fed up of road races, or just want to have a laugh? |

Running speed won't be so important, just that you can cover the distance comfortably, with the obstacles added in.
I think they are great events!
And the Scotland course is a great one.
Give it a go and let us know how you get on.

I’ve also done a few Spartan and other obstacle races. I’ve done them as a solo and as a fun run with friends.
As long as you can jog/walk the distance and don’t mind being challenged at some of the obstacles (there is absolutely no requirement to complete them, you just take an optional burpee forfeit if you can’t or don’t want to complete one). If you’re doing it competitively they will enforce the forfeit, but not for casual runners.
I’ll be doing the Scottish Sprint with my youngest son, so sign up and enjoy yourself. You’ll have medals and bruises as a reward afterwards. |
