I've found a dead cheap venue in Kirkcaldy...back of a lovely real ale pub.

£30 for the night including buffet!

Would fit about 30-40.

Anyone up for a social? I know Laine has one soon so I'm thinking mb March?

No final list atm - just looking for a rough estimate of who would be interested.

If it is big enough; do you need a dj? this will be at no cost to anyone. Have you a date in mind and if I am free happy to do it for all of us reprobates :D

Awesome response.

Well - I'm thinking thgat since it isnt a huge outlay, I'll not get into all the hassle of getting people to send me money. I think a whip round on the night will be fine - it should only be about a pound per person.

As I say - the venue is smallish. So thanks for the offer of a DJ but I think I'll save the one for a bigger venue if this is a success.

It looks like I will be able to go ahead and book it with all this interest. Would people prefer a Friday or Saturday night?
