I’ve been to Liverpool, briefly for a few weeks for work. Friendly people.
I don’t follow English football but Liverpool are the English team I support because of the impression they made on me.
You’ll have a great time. |

Hoping so.
Think I'm gonna go to the Anfield tour while I'm there, and maybe jump the tour bus or go on a ferry on the Mersey |

"Go down to watch Liverpool sometimes if it was at anfield could have found the money. Great city there just us with a different accent safest city in England for a scot"
"Just us with a different accent"
I work with a lot of folk from Liverpool, but it's all online, and I describe them as Weegies with different accents
When I go to visit family in Yorkshire, my accent is a novelty to the locals and the they seem to think everyone up here wears kilts and chucks trees about all the time |

"Yep, 0745 train down to Liverpool, straight to hotel to dump the bags, straight to Mathew Street for day drinking. Head off to the match and straight back to City centre to carry on drinking lol"

"I hope the game in Liverpool is better than the one at Hampden earlier on.
We'll get pumped again but it's a trip away and easy to get too and catch up wi pals "
Aye, that's pretty much how I'm viewing it.
That, a new place to see, and three stadiums to tick off on Futbology. |

Yeah the area had been derelict for decades. All getting built up over the next few years |
