I'm definitely in need of some maintenance for the body and looking for advice

Genuinely don't care about what people think of my body however my fitness is terrible and I need to course correct sooner than later.

Looking at joining a gym soon but is it worth getting a PT or just build myself a plan/routine?

At my age, no point in trying to get swole but if I can improve my general fitness id appreciated any advice like should I bother with pre workout drinks, how much protein to take and when before/after a workout, do I even bother with creatine?

Thanks in advance

A PT can give good advice but costs money.

You can get most of the info on YouTube or platforms like that for what you need.

Honestly, fresh air, 10k min steps a day and drink more than 2 litre of water a day.

Make it fun or you won't last mate. Best of luck. I could do with some myself

Try ChatGPT or some of the other AIs you can tell them what you want to do and your current level and they will create a program for you. Or use one if the many apps, Gravl is pretty good

Hiya

I saw your post and just wanted to give some tips,I don't want to call it advice. I have my level 2 & 3 in personal training and I've gathered a little experience over the years.

In terms of a pt,I'd say look around and find a good one, there are good ones out there. Also I'd say , instead of paying loads every month, sign up for 2 or 3 months, till you get into a routine and you know what your doing. After that,I'd say make your own plan on food and workout days, and use what your pt taught you. Sorry if it's crap advice, but I don't consider myself that experienced, this is just what I did with clients. I hope it helps in a way. 💪
