The west coast, especially the further north you go is full of great places to park up for the night, though the more into summer you get the busier it is, especially the North coast routes.
Also might want to consider going out with when the English have their holidays, it becomes over busy.
One great place that comes to mind is a park area at Knockan, has toilet facilities. Another place is by Ardvreck castle |
