Hello
Found another fake profile tonight by using google images. Its well worth checking if you have any doubt about a profile.
Person reported to admin, I would suspect that the profile will not be around for long.
If you have never used google images to search for pics then you should give it a try.

I tend to think its the saddo setting up the fake profile who needs to find a better way to fill their time! Surely if a user has a doubt about a profile and the knowledge to use Google images to flush out fakes that is a positive thing, which I really don't think in any way merited your negative and somewhat rude response....  |

we r on here to have fun with likeminded ppl most users on here can tell fake profile right away without having to use google images,and I dont think I was being rude I was just saying it as i seen it. |

we r on here to have fun with likeminded ppl most users on here can tell fake profile right away without having to use google images,and I dont think I was being rude I was just saying it as i seen it."

Who said I was going HUNTING for them? As for getting caught out in the end, would it not be better for them to be caught NOW rather than waste a lot of peoples time? You come across as being a rather rude and aggresive person in your posting manner/style. |

How can someone tell which pic is 'real'?
There have been threads recently about pics being stolen from here and posted elsewhere. Is there an infallible way of telling who the true owner is? |

Nope there is no way as such but if you have a feeling that something is not right then you can at least do the google image check. You will see that a few of the ladies on here use it with guy pics.
On my last time on this sight one lady asked me for money "Towards travelling exspences..." when I found out about using google image I put her pic in it and she showed up on a number of escort sites and also classified adverts. Seems she wanted to earn a lot more "Trevelling exspences". |

It doesn't matter how anyone came upon a fake profile the op did the right thing and reported it and for anyone to have adig at him for that is a bit OTT. We think that "justafun cpl" for a profile name must be very misdirected. Well done to the op |

Surely you have things in place as a user to spot these muppets so you dont waste time.
We dont respond to cpl profiles that have lots of male pics and 1 female pic.
We expect pics of cpls together within 2to3 messsges
We expect to talk to single female on phone within same as above or they can all get to fuck so we aint wasting time.

A couple of my pictures are/were on several sites and would show up as such. Anyone calling me a fake because of that would find my fake stiletto heel up their arse.
Coming on and gloating about it like some sort of swinging site vigilante bustin all the evil fakerz seems a bit sad. By all means report your suspicions to admin, they'll decide whether to pursue it.
And you could stop wasting your own time by not engaging with them in the first place, let alone playing Insp Clouseau. |

Before I start this is NOT aimed at anyone.
What we saw happen in this thread is a result of our current societal tendency to approve the "I say it as I see it" sort of attitude. This seems to give people the feeling that they can say whatever they like, however they like, to whomsoever they like no matter the circumstances. Free speech is a valuable part of our society, but it comes with the responsibility to moderate our tone and consider the effect of our words or to at least be big enough to apologise if our'bluntness'causes hurt or offence rather than blaming the person for not taking it how we meant it.

Another person attacking, very nice indeed. You must think that I am some sort of fool because your posting comes across that way. I was NOT gloating at it at all, passing on some advice to folk if you dont like the advice then dont heed the advice and continue on your way.
The pictures in question have been used in the Nigerian Bride scam, some others where of a famous model, some where from a newspaper article and the latest one this evening is used in an advert.
I do appreciate that some folk will have profiles on other sites but I doubt if you have your picture on a site about Nigerian Bride Scams?
I have had a lot of messages from folk asking me to clarify the use of google to check pics and they have been happy that they can check some things out. Tonight it also highlighted some other serious issues that this site has.
You can do whatever you want with your pc your sexuality your sitletoes, I dont really care.

Fab has picture mods some reasons pics are rejected are as follows...
Pornographic example skat, blood etc
Under 18
Another user example others in pic not of the profile
Web based, example lifted from another site
Pointless, example an object like a tin of spray on its own
Animals or pets.
Another site, example having a watermark or similar containing another site address on pic.
Picture mods approve ALL uploaded pics based on the above criteria.
Its a personal judgement whether any pics are rejected or allowed based on the above criteria.
The good mods use google images, tineye as a double check so to speak on any pics they are suspect about.
Click happy mods rattle through them as a free supporters pass is the carrot for approving 1000 pics in 30 days.
Fake pics do get through so the best advice is simply report any suspect pics and admin will take appropriate action.
Personally if in doubt about a profile gut instinct never fails me and i simply add a note to the profile and forget about it.

You do seem to be finding an awful lot of fakes OP, would your time not be better served finding people to try and get laid, rather than profile vigilantism like I said?
Spoof profiles are easy to spot before you even get to the pics. Usually too good to be true, usually female, little or no profile info, either joined very recently or a long time ago and no veris.
I don't even bother with profiles like this as even sending one email to them encourages them. If no one bothered contacting them they wouldn't exist.
Don't quite see what my sexuality has to do with it tho? |

PP - If what you say is true it doesn't seem to be a very big carrot though and I wouldn't say they need to rattle through them to get it when, 1000 in 30 days only equals 33.33 pics approved per day or 1.39 pics an hour!

I had a similar problem on here with a potlrtrait a friend done for me they kept rejecting it till I pointed out that the original photo was also on here it's now been accepted after many atempts to add it lol  |
