Does anyone know anything about skylanders giants and skylanders swapforce?
Can you use the swapforce figures with the gaints starter pack and vice versa?
Need to get clued up on this.

Yes, Swap Force is backward-compatible with all figures from the previous games: Skylanders Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders Giants.
Giants are not necessary to complete Swap Force. |

Phew! Glad somebody knows about it.
So am I right in thinking that we can now buy the skylanders swapforce figures and they will play on the skylanders giants game portal  |

Theoretically you can use the portal given to you in the new Swap Force Game on the older games. But, if you use the old portal for the newer games, it wouldn't work. So it looks like if you have the new portal the everything is fine because that'll work with older versions but your old giants portal won't work with swap force characters.
Clear as mud? Lol
