no he shouldnt! Only a full op TS can legally call themselves female. However TVs can be androgyne (between m and f) as I am according to a specialist. I live as male though and dont think Im fem although very fem when dresed

Hey .... my view is you stole my question and I am going to have to consult the appropriate authorities ...

http://www.fabswingers.com/forum/scotland/28317 (same form of question/s ... )

IMHO .... I would never wish to pass myself off to anyone as anything other than what I am ....

People are going to find out what you are like if you are genuine in your intentions of meeting ....

There is a specific setting for the T-population on the site .....

However, I can see why this may occur .... on sites attributed to the transgendered, Trannys do generally identify as female .... in discerning themselves from the Admirers (of the male variety).

However, if they are claiming to own their own vagina and pretending to be a genetic girl (other than a post op TS) ... it's akin to a false profile.

As for etiquette in writing to people that will vary from person to person and is not specific to any form of gender.

Feck ...

I wish it was as simple as sticking on a padded bra ....

I don't know of any TV/TS that has a profile as a female, as far as I am aware the majority have a TV/TS profile type with a few just having a male profile (but have pics of themselves dressed as a TV).

If you see a profile that is a TV on a female profile then please report it, that's why the site has a profile type for TV/TS

sometimes i fling on Ps outfits just to piss her off...it works a treat! dont think i qualify for a tv profile though.

I can understand where the issue comes from as there is a few t-girls here that look more female than some females on fab, and i can kinda understand why (as much as a straight boy can) they identify as female but i personally dont think they really qualify as either guy or girl, a point of view shared by admin as they have the tv-tgirl profile option xxxGxxx

Perhaps gender is in the eye of the beholder. There are plenty of guys and couples out there looking for TVs. Why deny them the opportunity to find what they're looking for? For one, I'd be pretty disappointed to be blocked from so many potential playmates just because they're not looking for single guys.

I'd much prefer to see a distinction between TVs and TSs, which in my experience are like chalk and cheese, or cheese and chalk.

Dunno if this is something that can be looked into by admin - or if it exists already... but perhaps for there to be a block single guys, and a seperate block TV/TS to distinguish the 2 categories as they are entirely different to each other.

I don't think in the 2 or more years we have been on here we have been messaged by a TV asking for a meet just for a normal conversation.... I think as a general rule those that describe themselves as a TV/TS are more respectfull to a profiles wants and not wants than some other profile types

We do have TV's looking at the profile (so what) but seems that they can read! Well done!

We do.

There is a MF couple profile on here that is actually 2 males, one of which is a TV.

They seem to be allowed to pose (and message ppl) as MF when quite clearly they aren't.

We think, as long as they are guys then they should come under the male banner.

They may look good in a skin tight dress and heels ( and a few do!).

But they are still men after all.

Don't make you a bad person, but it don't make you a girl either.

"

From what I have seen on profiles the separate grouping for TS/TV is actually used by many ....

Some people state they are looking for a TS/TV whilst stating no single men ...

I was surprised to find out recently it was only men that could be blocked ....

To avoid discrimination perhaps there should be the ability to block single females and couples too ...

However, I would imagine that what we really need is an option to block people who don't read profiles ....

If they were blocked you wouldn't need to block an entire group at all ....

Kirsty,

Are you sure about only males able to be blocked.

We've blocked single fems in the past and it seemed to work.

A tv should be setting up a profile using the tv option. That's what it's there for.
