As much as I love being from the capital city, in terms of fab it is pretty boring/shite. All the action seems to happen elsewhere and I find a lot of females through my way to be very 'up their own arses'.
Is this a bad view or spot on?  |

If you imagine the amount of bullshit the the women have to put with on here then you can understand why some feel they have to be like that. Changing the way you approach them might help has for me. |

The folk I know that are 'up their own arses' are from all over, mainly the glasgow area tho lol and guys are just as bad as women.
Edinburgh seems to be a quiet place in terms of the swinging stuff.

Edinburgh used to have a vibrant underground scene where you could have lots of fun at parties. That seemed to die out a while back and the naughty clubs I went to (Nightshade etc) were destroyed by bad media.
That of course or I just don't get the invite any more lol.
I've always been keen on running some parties and getting a party scene going myself but my flat is tiny and my wife doesn't swing so setting something up as an 'official' single dude would likely suck.
Not sure Edin gals are any more stuck up but most of my non-UK friends always point out how arrogant women are over here. So it's maybe true to a degree.

I'm from Edinburgh and don't think I'm stuck up but maybe I just don't see it? I think that there are always people who you don't gel with and their location is irrelevant. |

100% agree with you. Can count on one hand the number of decent people I have chatted to from Edinburgh. Glasgow/west coast seems much better for meeting people in my opinion. |

used to live in Edinburger always found the people to be friendly. ...although there was a west coast rivalry going on...Once you got used to the accent going UP at the end it was fine ...
