Saw some of the videos of people in Tesco last night

fighting over things like blenders lol! The one in Silverburn even got shut down for a few hours by police

Asda starts theirs at 8am....no doubt there will be more scenes like the Tesco madness!

Really. I was going to go round the shops and have a look but there will be nothing left at 9am when I get there and if there is I'm not fighting for it

For the few who get the real bargains, it's great, but for thousands of others it's just a big con.

Amazon had a cracking deal the other day, think it was a tablet, but it seems that they were gone in literally seconds!

And as for the stramashes in Asda, Tesco etc, forget it.

The thing is, there's internet sites where you'll find deals for whatever it is you want. Some of the BF deals I've seen are no better than what's available normally, if you're prepared to look for it.

It's nothing more than a cynical marketing exercise, the shops promoting and profiting from this sort of stupidity should be ashamed of themselves.

I have no problem with discounting or sales but to deliberately create hype on a scale that leads to fights, injuries and requires police intervention for the sake of market share is marketing gone mad.

Is this really what we want our children to learn about Christmas?

All the fighting is a joke! The discounts aren't that great, however a certain adult retailer had 20% off all their underwear and toys!!!!

Went shopping to macys in New York on thanks giving night at about 6:30pm and it was pretty quiet and bagged some great deals.

But best deals was at woodbury common the ugg, Michael kors and Calvin kline shops where incredible sales on.

Gave in n got a xbox one today from game, all in saved about £60. Wasn't a huge saving but meh can't complain
