Near You

The Rowan Tree Hotel outside Aviemore. It doesn't look much from the outside but it's a cosy as a bastard inside with open fires in the lounge. The guy who owns it does the cooking. Amazing menu, all unusual, it's a foodies dream.

Gleneagles, The Peat Inn, The Witchery in Edinburgh has some amazing apartments too.

Citizen M in Glasgow is fairly inexpensive but would probably still impress a girl

Dakota forth bridge is lovely if you pay a bit more

CitizenM is one of our favourite hotels to stay in when in Glasgow. Really should try another in Europe.
