There are plenty of people in life who are quite happy to knock you down,look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself you are an attractive person inside and out and start believing it.
That will then make the compliments easier to accept.
Of course if you don't feel it you will find it harder to accept compliments.
Don't understand why it's so easy to give than receive. |

I find them easy to give & I can kind of take a compliment in a one on one situation. But if someone compliments me in front of a group I'm uncomfortable, it somehow makes me feel like I'm showing off even though I never asked for the compliment. |

I can fully understand why women would find it hard to accept compliments on here she probably hears the same compliment hundreds of times if not more from eager guys hoping to have their wicked way  ....i on the other hand tend to accept them willingly and gives my ego quite a boost as i dont get very many at all so when i do.. i take notice |

I can take them no problem on here. I have been desensitised to them so I take them and say thanks.
Compliments are dished out like sweeties at Halloween on here. Some guys seem to think showering you with compliments is the way into your pants but unfortunately with me it isn't. I'm confident enough to know I'm alright so don't need to hear how 'gorgeous' I am all the time and I'm also not daft enough to believe I'm the most gorgeous woman around these parts so I take them but that's it. I don't get all weak at the knees when someone gives me one.

Should always be grateful, any compliment thrown your way is good. I mean someone has taken thought about something about you, for a second or two you were the sole thought on their mind and in a way that's pretty beautiful. |

A woman who looks like a model. Sat beside me one night and gave me compliment after compliment.
Went home that night and broke my heart couldnt cope with hearing such nice things said about myself.
Knew it was me that was messed up. Appeared the most confident person you could met. But had no selfworth.
Can take compliments now and give them back. Still hard at times |
