My nana only ever drank at Xmas and it would be a glass of advocat, had the same bottle for about ten years, I'm sure it has a short shelf life when opened, she lived to 96.

Just made some shimmering cranberry vodka for Xmas day. Looks and tastes fantastic.

Boil cranberries n sugar till sugar turns syrip like. Pour in bottle of vodka and leave for 2 days. Pour through a strainer and add some luster dust.

Like I say looks and tastes great at xmas

I'm blushing already thinking what my grandson might say in twenty odd years time....

'My old granny would polish off several bottles of prosecco before moving onto the apple vodkas then trip off to bed pissed as a fart with her knickers round her ankles and a bottle of Bailey's in one hand and Sourz in the other. Bless her.'

It sure does sound yummm BUT although I'm not a whisky drinker and it took me YEARS to get there... you can't beat just one or two drams of a really good whisky... neat of course. The Water of Life

I do love my whisky and I have many but I'll be drinking a particular bottle this year as it was a gift.

And then maybe trying a different few in between Xmas and new year.
