Thinking of hamilton, East Kilbride or motherwell as most folk are from here
Also looking into hire of a venue or might just be easier to pick a pub and make space or selfs lol
Whats peoples thoughts.
I was going to thr edinburgh social a few years ago which got cancelled cause of papers got involved therefore not overly keen on booking somewhere |

Any of these areas would suit us... As for venue, I'm assuming your not going to tell them it's a swingers social so shouldn't be a problem. as long as you do what other social organisers do and don't give out details publicly.

I'd say pick an area and let people know. Then pick pub with plenty of space, then on the day of planned meet just let those confirmed attenders know the location. |

Who is the arsehole that phoned the venue to ask about the prices of the sex part ly
Just got a voice maik from the manager saying they do want that sort of thing here and cancelled the booking
Why would you ask to come just to be a troll

As i have just said to the last 3 people that email i only got the chance to email the date and a venue in hamilton to 10 folk before it went tits up
So lets make it easy i ll just wait and the first person to mail me a venue / pub will then post

Why would you send the venue details out so far in advance lol.With any social the venue isn't sent privately until night before the event !!People even said to you the normal process so why ignor that when so worried about the security of the event ??? Strange even right at start you went on about people calling venues ect and then for it to apparently happen to you huh.... curiouser and curiouser .
But hey IF it was only 10 people you gave full details to easy to find out who did it huh. ... |

You seriously saying you are organising an event and you you didn't look at all the options yourself in the area ???You just first one that came to you mind huh and surprisingly it was available at a weekend ney bothers??? You are either due for a lottery win as you are so lucky for that to happen or as it's becoming clear this thread should be in the fantasy section |

If your serious about this look for pubs with a dj that have space to accomodate a decent amount of people, ask to reserve an area. If they have a private area even better. The areas your talking about have plenty of places.

Look all i am sick of people saying do this do that from trolls
If you think you can do better then do it
I ve asked for help but as usual the forum elite like to pick bones but not mend them so
Some one else can take up this mantle as the joy of arrange it has been sucked out it by a few very specific people
Also will the couple that keeps emailing me abuse get a grip its a bit of fun to try and arrange a social not life or death |

People are offering you advice moslty people who have been here a very long time.
There are some of us who arrange very successful socials all the time but its always nice to see someone new try to offer to arrange something too .
If you're getting abusive emails then report them it's why the site gives you to tools to do so after all .

Seeing as the OP has backed out. I would be more than happy to take on the role with organisation for this event. I am thinking that Hamilton is a good area and that a date around early to mid April would be appropriate.
I would love to here advice from anyone
(Preferably not the OP)
