Have just learned legendary guitarist Gary Moore has died in his sleep over in Spain.

59 years old.

Can still hear him playing Parisienne Walkways or The Loner or various other timeless classics.

He is now with his old buddy Philip Lynott hope your both downing the Whiskey in the Jar somewhere guys

RIP Gary a Rock Legend

That's a real shame. The way he made a guitar sing inspired many to pick up a guitar and try.

I saw him at Glasgow Barrowlands about 8 years ago. He was probably the best live guitarists I have ever seen. True passion and gave his all on the night.

He will be missed.

One of my childhood heroes, and, in my opinion, the best guitarist Thin Lizzy ever had (in fact, just one of the best guitarists)...loved his music. Was devestated when I heard the news yesterday afternoon.

Couldn't believe the news this morning on rock radio when I heard Gary had passed away. Yet another music/rock legend who has gone before their time

A true legend , and one of very few who could make the guitar "sing".

He will be missed ..... and if he is now in heaven thier lucky , what sounds will now be heard there!!!
