I wouldnt expect a third, Nymphomaniac was the third part of Lars Von Trier's "depression trilogy" (the other 2 being Antichrist & Melancholia)

Not the way he works, and it was supposed to be one film, but no distributors would touch it because it was originally 5hrs long, so he agreed to re-edit and split it into two volumes which would be released simultaneously.
He doesnt normally go back to a subject. |
