Gaviscon!!!

If you do not have it, a teaspoon of Bicarbonate of soda, in about 30ml of water, tastes vile, but does the trick.

I would only recommend the Bicarb if there is nothing else and do not use it too often as it is bad for you if taken in excess.

"Omeprazole "

I find this takes a while to work.

It is more a preventative and is prescribed by the doctor if you are taking anti-inflammatories long term or have an ulcer. It protects the digestive tract/

Omeprozole was ok but still did not get rid of my heart burn.Instead of taking something like Zantac or Gaviscon when you have heart burn, why not take something daily that will stop you having it in the first place.

My Dr put me on Pantoprazole 40mg, same family as Opeprazole but a bit stronger and better for the digestive tract.
