I wouldn't say it's an insult, the girl clearly sees you as a friend in my book that's not a bad thing at all if you enjoy spending time with her then stay friends just because the girl doesn't see you in a sexual way doesn't mean she dislikes you friends are important xx

I'd choose my friendships before most things they last longer lol
