Depends on your definition of Friend.....
I have a special friend on here who is an ear to bend when I need to sound off, a shoulder to cry on when I'm depressed and someone who laughs at my quirky personality.....
The other definition of friend is a play friend........Not met my ideal Fab Play friend as yet....and I've only been here 3 years |

One who can read my profile.
One who doesn't send me copy and paste jobs addressed to "Dear Someone Else".
One who doesn't send a message regardless when they don't fit cause 'if you don't ask, you don't get!'

Well _irtygirl I bet you are glad you got that off your chest!!!! A fab friend for me is one that I can sit at a party and just laugh and have a chat with but have the option of going upstairs if the mood takes.  |

Fab friends to me are people i know i cant trust 100% to always be there for me , to laugh with me cry with me and just be a non judgemental friend ...i have many friends who are friends for diffrent reasons ...the two verification i have on show on my profile are what i class true friends to me who i can turn to for advice and i know they will give me that even if its advice is dont really want to hear |

My fab friends accept me for me and all my madness. No need to pretend I'm something I'm not and the usual response is one of surprise as I'm a nice person who has a brain and feelings and not just a nutter lol. I've been lucky and met some amazing people who I love and trust with my safety so I'm always happy to meet up with them with no pressure to play but just to go out with and enjoy ourselves. I once sent in an anxious moment a copied message whilst folks confirmed as coming to a party were dropping out by the minute.
The need to balance a party, the desire to just invite others you just may think might add to the atmosphere brought that about.
And if the recipient chooses to be offended, all put out, indeed offended by that and have no humility to accept anothers mistake and have no appreciation of the circs, doubt they will ever become a "friend". |

Someone who gets the joke,who once met you and says they like and trust you acts like someone who likes and trusts you.
We all click on here for pretty much the same swingingly fun exciting reasons i would imagine.
I would'nt expect a fab friend to be able to help me with each and every problem that cropped up, whenever either.
Just as stated at the top,consistantly be friendly.
Theres swinging friends i meet frequently, there are swinging friends i meet twice in a year, neither are regarded as "less friends", because there is that mutual regard and understanding between us. |
