Any advice on we’re to go near Motherwell for Hogmanay ? Would go into Glasgow or Edinburgh but too much hassle

I used to work with someone from out your way who always said the horse shoe bar in motherwell was good for new year.

I often go to friends in Biggar they have a massive fire in the high street in front of the clock main street closed and loads of people there having a drink and a dance
