Ok, so where the hell has the Birdeye Bear adverts gone?.....they're the best ads on TV for years.
Mrs _oma sent off for a few bears using the tokens...supposed to take 30 days...lol...still waiting 2 months on |

I met the original Captain Birdseye (well the one who used to be in all the adverts) when he opened a british forces shop in Berlin about 20 years ago. Still have the cuddly toy which he signed lol - how sad is that. |

Yeah i heard the bear was named Clarence.... poor choice.
The name Clarence was given to a crosseyed lion in some far gone tv programme.
The Birdseye bear, has some kinda sinister, intimidatingly mafioso tone ...almost Marlon Brando like in The Godfather....i suggest Alphonso or Luigi ... |
