Airfix models, Matchbox toy cars....oh and when really young i was the proud owner of a Gollywog...jeez, must have been one of my very first toys.

Those were the days before Political Correctness, when Golliwogs were just a plaything, nothing more

Lego for me. So versitile and allows you to go weird and wild with your imagination. I remember once having built a model city that was on platforms above a bank of clouds that i pretended was on another planet... This was after my phase of building pirate ships and seeing if they'd float in the bath, and before trying to build models of Martian Fighting Machines from Jeff Wayne's the war of the worlds... I was 10.

Call me the fat controller- had my own hornby trainset - 3 train circuits wi a bridge - trick was controllinbg the speed so they didnae crash at the points!
