Hi all, here in Ireland ppl are expecting shit to go down with brexit in the North etc... What's the Scottish opinion on it, and would it have similar effects over there, I imagine since Scotland is similar to Ireland in ways with a divide amongst independence and our close history.
I ask as I'd love to visit your beautiful country , but as a guy from the South with a thick accent I don't want a repeat of when I went to Belfast and got attacked because of it |

"Brexit does not work for Scotland
As it didn't voted for it.
"
As it hasn't happened yet you can't tell if will be a success or not.
I didn't vote for it either but will accept the verdict of the majority and am happy to make sure it is a success. |

I’ve been to both the North and South of Ireland. Much preferred the South as I didn’t find the same amount of bigotry there. However I also met lots of lovely folk in both and you’ll get haters everywhere in the world. Brexit will cause more disruption I think, it shouldn’t but it will |

Weird that people in NI would attack you for this, since you never voted for or against brexit. Sensitive subject though, so wouldn't bring it up when you're in the pub.
The world will keep going, with or without brexit. We'll just have to make the best of it i guess x |
