OK, I'm finally in a position to attend a party at CJs, and have wanted to to go for years!

But I am SO nervous about it.

The thought of walking in there on my own terrifies me.

Is it really as relaxed as it seems?

Reassurance needed!

Very much so. My partner and I went for the first time last week. We were shown around, explained the rules and then we went to the bar and had a drink. We got chatting to a few people and it was if we were just at a house party. Until later on upstairs where fun was happening...

Yes it’s a friendly as people make out. The staff are great, my advice is to chat to people as soon as possible when you get in there.

Yes deffo Staff are fantastic and so welcoming and people so nice and friendly. Plenty of banter in the smoking area! As long as you are polite and respectful when approaching people and start a conversation you will be fine! ??

Just be cool, don’t get absolutely blotto, chat, be yourself, say hello to folks.. but as a single guy, know the rules....

Apart from that it’s just like a house party as others have said.

Have a look at the forum for the night that you’re going and chat on the forum.

There’s sometimes a social beforehand as well.

Can understand how it may feel daunting going there for first time but once you walk through the door you'll wonder why you were soo nervous about it lol ..just Don't get pissed and make an arse of yourself and don't go expecting to get your leg over and you'll be fine

I went for the first time a few weeks ago in a Saturday night and had a lovely time. Chatted to lots of folk there, and ask just nice genuine people. As previously said, don't just focus on the sex side, if you are friendly and spend time chatting that side of things is more likely to happen for you. Just try to relax, have a beer and chat. It's s good night out.

Thanks so much for all the advice and reassurance!

It certainly sounds like my kind of place.

Relaxed, no pressure, fun if you want it etc.

I am definitely going to book a space ay the next "fun for all" evening!
