We are looking to book the 15th for 10 days, hopefully but gonna leave it for a while because we have just been informed our annual travel insurance will not cover us for any covid19 related claim if we book while the pandemic is going on

You have no chance!

This will be going on for 2+ yes

Secondly all the airlines will be bust, the one thsy aren't will be finding ways to get the aircraft back up and running.

Thirdly many countries will still be restricting travel even 2 yrs on.

Best get paddling! But expect a hostile reception

People will probably be surprised but I totally disagree with you!!

Once a vaccine is available(not discovered but widely available) and even beforehand, when a reliable antibody test is available, things will move pretty quickly. Governments will underwrite losses, as they know the timescale, in relative terms, will be short and the economic bounce back will be huge. So the majority of businesses and especially airlines, will be safe(the smaller, cash in hand, dodgy books type of business are well fucked) . This is not a recession, in the normal sense.....

That said, I don't expect things to be anywhere near normal by October/November, so we have resisted the urges to book and are leaving it until this time next year.

If what your saying is true then GC might as well close up now because they will never last our 2 year's. Have to build a better swingers scene here, maybe swingers only holiday parks.
