Good news for Gran Canaria?

If the government decides to make GC exempt from the 14 day quarantine, will this provide an unexpected boost to tourism there?

If someone has booked a holiday in mainland Spain and had to cancel it - will they decide to go to the Canaries instead as an alternative Spanish option?

This quarantine may be good news for GC - so long as the UK govt. sees sense and makes then exempt.

I will be looking out for an announcement in the next couple of days .

I would never dream of questioning your facts! But where did you read this? I can't find anything online about an exemption yet.

...so long as the UK Govt sees sense..

Mmmm as we start 2 weeks quarantine in Scotland after returning from Fuerte yesterday. One of the safest places on the planet. Zero deaths in total.

We see it as protecting ourselves from UK people!
