Morning all, looking to travel to Lanzarote from 1st Dec till Feb can anyone recommend a travel insurance company. Most that we have looked at group the Canaries with mainland Spain and mainland Spain is on the UK list of non essential travel destination, so you would not be covered if you travel, even although they will sell you a policy.

Ideas anyone

Staysure insurance gives the option to add covid cover and cover for traveling against government advice.

We use Staysure also. Adding the extention cover for only a couple of £s covers for covid and also travel deemed non essential by the FCO

You try to help and get pelters FFS wonder why they were on the block list ? For what’s it’s worth just purchased joint annual policy with COVID protection for 65 quid For the avoidance of doubt if you can PM us be happy to point you in right direction If you can’t we blocked you

Good to know, we also booked to go to PDI soon so will need insurance, left it till last minute to see if holiday was going ahead.
