Specifically for swingers there is very little (almost nothing) in Benidorm.
One or two of the gay bars in the old town are swinger friendly and there is (maybe was now) the El Sofa sex cinema. But that is about it.
For restaurants it's the old town just behind the headland and for late night entertainment the cabaret bars in and around "the square" in Levante. |

Cupido is long gone.
We've only been to El Sofa once.
We were the only couple with around half a dozen single guys who were more interested in playing with each other.
We stayed for around 15 minutes. Needless to say we wouldn't go back.

To be honest the Cafe Benidorm thing is a bit of a myth.
I'm sure that in the past one or two swingers will have used it for meets. But to describe it as some kind of swinger hangout just isn't true.
When Benidorm actually had a proper swinger hang out (Cupido) even that couldn't attract enough people to make it viable.
For years people moaned on here that there was nothing for swingers in Benidorm, then as soon as something opened all we could read on here were people slagging it off.
Bottom line is that unless you can make some kind of arrangement on here, or elsewhere, forget Benidorm as swinger friendly. It isn't, only briefly was, and probably never will be again. |
