Black Bulldog PDI alloving filming.

Manchester

After many years enjoying the nightlife of PDI, we has a really unpleasant experience tonight.

We are enjoying our sexuality more openly in the bars and clubs of PDI because there has been an unspoken rule of filming not allowed ( spoken in the clubs, unspoken in the bars)

Just arrived home after a nice night in the bars, started and finished in The Black Bulldog in Cita. The bar has a pole and encourages the guests to use it and help create a good sexy atmosphere. Tonight we and a friend couple pointed out to the staff that filming was being done in the bar - where we we’re part of the film, clothed in sexy/fetish/BDSM oufits.

The response from the Bar manager was that if we had a problem with that we should go elsewhere. We respekt this - and will do that, but I still think it is worth telling the community to keep in mind that dancing on the pole or being dressed In a more sexy outfit than you are comfortable of being seen in by your neighbours - don’t take it all out in this bar.

That being said - I think the community and the swingers meeting points should be on the same page and ask for a «no camera policy also in the bars.

I guess most of you - like us - want to continue leaving the «code» of dressing deasantly and behaving likewise at home, and enjoying the free spirit of sexuality without worrying that it will be on Pornhub tomorrow.

Quite surprised of the Bar Managers call here - but of course - his bar and his choice.

Just keep it in mind.

That’s my two cents/opinion.

That’s quite disturbing. Both the fact that someone was filming there and also the managers response.

In any other bar there’s not much you can do, but in a ‘specialist’ bar like that, it’s really not on.

We’ve witnessed similar incidents in the beach at Cap d’Agde which has resulted in the mobile phone being thrown in the sea by irate victims.

You don’t film in naturist/swinging environments..!

Thanks for the information, we arrive on the 20th of Jan and this bar was on our list to try but I think we will give it a wide berth! Plenty of other great bars. Thanks again and hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

I hope the owners read the op post as it’s going to cost them business, we do intend to visit this bar when we go, but if I see anyone filming, we shall not return

We think the owners deserve the right to reply on this.

We visited Black Bulldog on our last holiday in PDI and we loved the place. They've brought a very classy and new experience to the PDI scene. We believe it's made swinging more mainstream rather than hidden behind closed doors in the basement.

But of course, the response from the manager doesn't sound acceptable. Filming should never be allowed in meet bars or clubs.

As far as I’m aware the owner is a female. The only male we saw was behind the bar on the 3 times we were there. The waitress was lovely too. Don’t not go due to one silly person using a camera

It's an "open" bar and as such anyone could be taking photos or videos at anytime, if you don't want to be seen it's not a bar you should be in to be fair.

I also saw people using phones in fun4all recently which used to be taboo.

"Not necessarily taking photos inn fum4all I should add !"

I don’t think anyone would mind people taking pics of themselves and friends.

But nobody should be videoing anyone else unless invited to do so, regardless of where you are or what you are doing, unless of course you’re indulging in illegal activities

First of all - I will absolutely recommend the Black Bulldog as a bar to visit. Especially the two ladies are wonderful, and the bar has a very good vibe.

BUT - if you, as we enjoy maybe dancing on the pole, as chaingirl did last night only wearing panties and heels, then you must also accept the bars policy of filming being allowed. Of course - now we know this, and will not be dancing or initiating erotic scenes like that again in this bar if visiting again.

My strong personal meaning - and wish - is that also the bars will have a no photo/filming policy, because I really love it when the ladies dress far more sexy than they do in the "normal" bars, and if there is an occational striptease or erotic dance at the pole it is a big bonus.

I think many, like us, will hold back on this if we have to accept that we will be filmed and random people can do with the photos/film as they want.

And - it is really up to us as a community what we want - if we together state to the bars that we prefer no photos/filming - of course they will adjust it to what their customer wants.

Still my two cents

I’m sorry to hear of your situation at the bar.

Obviously there is two sides of the story, and we cannot comment for the bar, but it’s not nice to hear customers feel uncomfortable.

Just to share our experience, sometimes when cultures meet or native tongue isn’t spoken, things may sound abrupt or out of context.

Lizzie had this experience from one of the ladies when we got to the bar and they had just opened. The lady did apologise as she hadn’t meant to come across this way (off her own back I hasten to add, not because we had told her), and soon had Lizzie eating out of her hand and she found her very warm, sexy and super friendly. I personally knew it wasn’t intended.

Regarding your experience, I think it was previously commented on but I would like to extend on this and add a bit more meat on the bone.

We would agree that certain swinging clubs, bars or meeting points have poles and are more closed (studio 69 and before for example) where it is far more easy to dress down, get raunchy on the pole and not expect any type of filming. And rightly so.

What I would say about Black Bulldog is that it is a more open bar amongst the mix of vanilla bars where the vanilla people will also pass by. We know PDI is a very liberal and open resort but still I’m not sure we would use BB’s pole knowing that it’s open and could have people record or vanillas pass by in view. We’d save it for the aforementioned or clubs.

In the UK, we have been to a few vanilla pubs/clubs, Yates in Walsall as an example. And places like Jumpin Jack’s on the Veronica strip in Las Americas in Tenerife. These are open and whilst we’ve used the poles here, we’ve been aware of the surroundings and had to take into account there is a risk of being snapped/recorded.

That’s the mentality we would take going into BB.

Nevertheless I think it’s a good post and offers people some awareness. I think you have accepted the situation, moved on and treated it as a lesson learned.

You’ve also show excellent credibility as you have talked very highly of the bar, and you are right, it is a great bar. Great range of drinks and great prices.

I heard that they were expanding the size of their bar. If so, and they are looking to cater for the swinging community, then I hope they have some good feedback and perhaps a closed area where they can offer the pole with a code of conduct that the swinging community requires and expects.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

The Black B has a public corridor through the middle ..the Comeback has one around the outside edge.

So anyone can walk thro filming..just like your local shoppin centre..

If these bars were behind closed doors then management could enforce no filming.

So if you enter a public area then you could be filmed.

The OP stated the filming was done from within the bar.

Albeit it’s a ‘public’ bar, if it’s a bar that wants to attract the swinging fraternity and promotes itself as a ‘swingers bar’ then they should be aware of the ‘moral’ code of conduct that should be observed within the confines of their premises.

Ok - maybe I should clarify again that the filming was done bu the guests INSIDE the bar.

Two times - first time just a fun incident when a guy had a blast and made an effort of trying to deliver a dance on the pole. His buddy found this so hilarious that he took up his phone and started to film.

The four of us sitting by the inner table behind the pole then of course was in the background. I told the lovely waitress that I did not like that, and she immediatekly asked the guy to delete the film. He fully understood, no hard feelings and party went on.

We had a good time with our friends, our two ladies part time in underwear/topless dancing and enjoying life. Then - close to closing time, a slim, darkhaired woman entered the pole, and started dancing - she was an excellent dancer, and stripped down to full nudity in her perfomance. Suddenly I discovered a man sitting with his phone between his legs filming this, and I immidiately called for the waitress, expected that this would be delt with.

To my surprise, they said that the man was the husband of the dancer, they were regular customers there and was allowed filming. When I pointed out that no one had informed us about this, and that we now was a cheering crowd one meter behind the dancer, partially clothed and fully visible in the film, I asked for the film to be deleted. They didn't do that, and the guy behind the bar (I thought he was the bar manager) came out and said that if we didn't accept the filming we should go elsewhere.

We did.

Maybe I'm old school - but I would like that community kept the "code" of no cameras in the meetingpoints - and I stated my view of this in this bar. Of course - the bars can decide their rules - but the customers are the real deciders. So - when you visit the Bulldog - tell them to be a no camera bar - and they will also become one.
