"Just booked here for July. What's it like from those of you who have been before? "

Here now its not a compact hotel but service, food and facilities are good. Short walk to activity centres and a naked sun terrace, whats not to like.

They started renovating one the blocks when we were there in January. Someone mentioned on here that they were going the work on the roof. It needs some attention to be fair, was looking a bit run down when we were there

I don't think there's any immediate plans for the roof but do take your towels up before breakfast.

If I'd seen the scum he would have went viral on YouTube

I reported it and within 20 minutes the flower pot was gone and the whole area smelled of bleach, never seen anything like it in 5 years of staying here

Are the rooms near the sun terrace open yet? Rooms 520 to 529 etc. We stayed in Feb this year and all these rooms were kept empty (probably due to the new pool works.

My wife and I arrive 1st week in June and will be on the roof terrace.

We booked, and paid extra for the adult section near the sun deck, on arrival we were given there best room on top floor,so they said, right above the pool and stage, had it out with the manager and tui rep, was offered another room but decided to stay put, what tui do not tell you is all the top floors 4 and 5 are classed as adult section. But first time here love it .

We stayed there a few times over the last 3 or 4 years and the terrace was getting worse and worse. The sunbeds were only fit for the skip and the whole area has been neglected.

That's why this week and when we come back next month we're staying elsewhere.

Anyone with concerns about the roof terrace not being open for their visit. I've just been up on the roof and it's finished ready for opening tomorrow. Reception confirmed it also and i've had an email reply at long last saying the same. So trekking to kiosk 6 is no longer needed for proper tanning.

Pretty simular last year except the turf wasn't flat so they've probably laid new turf and took out the silly bar area.

Spent most of the day up on the roof terrace, as said new astrow turf, painted all looks nice and clean chairs tables a bar thing, if any criticism they could do with new sun beds and there is plenty of room for more sun beds

They seem to stick the worst of the sunbeds up top. So a tip is check the canvas isn't slack when you choose one as the cross ribs are horrendous on your back on the slack ones.

Not sure what room you are talking about but we booked one of the new rooms with very large solarium balcony with hot tub and it certainly wasn’t private, no way could we naked sunbathe on it but we certainly couldn’t fault the hotel, food drinks and hotel was faultless and only a 300 yard walk to the cita centre or 500 yard walk to the beach
