Hi!
We've just spotted that Spain can require proof of finances before allowing Non-EU visitors entry. £85 per person, per day.
Has anyone run into problems with this? We live pretty cheaply whilst we're on holiday and can cover our costs but we don't have that kind of money available. |

"Yep, some all inclusive resorts are limiting the number of drinks you can have! Someone said they were limited to 3 drinks lunchtime 3 drinks evening on an all inclusive deal!"
That’s a new thing in certain places. Majorca has it at a lot of hotels. It’s meant to be to do with controlling alcohol intake but seems more like a money making plan! |

As the UK is now a 'third' country, any country in the EU now has the right to ask if we have money/accommodation/proof of return or onward travel etc etc.
Whether they choose to do so is another matter. |

We do exactly the same to people entering the UK. If you cannot support yourself, and you are not seeking asylum.. then how are you going to get fed and where will and how will you live. Spain have put a monetary figure on it..that is the differance |
