We stayed in Calpe a few years ago in a villa just outside the town on the Altea side. It’s a nice town with 2 different beaches either side of the rock.
We also have stayed in Alicante on a few occasions another lovely region.
There weren’t many English speakers in Calpe when we were there it was march I think predominately Spanish.
If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

I've spent a lot of time in Calpe and Benissa over the years and have never had any problems finding English speakers.
Heading to Benissa tomorrow (24th Oct) for a month hopefully find some more fun |
