Looking for a week away May 2024 but PDI doesn’t look like it will be that hot.

Any suggestions of other places to visit with clubs and decent weather?

A chilly 30° in PDI most likely

Oh really?

I did a quick google of average temps and results suggested between 19 and 12

It's rarely that cold, if ever, in the South of the island. Been going for years and it will be hot in May. The average daytime temperature all year round would be mid 20's daytime and by May, high 20's to low 30's is most likely.

San Fernando, Gran Canaria

N & S are 100% correct.

OP, I did a Google search for May and like you returned a search that had no bearing on reality. The same site gave temperatures for our summer months peaking in the 20s when temperatures rarely dip below 30 and go into the 40s. The site says the current temperature is 17 degrees whilst it's actually 23.

The average temperature in May is 26.3 degrees and you can expect some days to go well into the 30s.

I advise that you search some of the local weather sites for the Canary Islands.
