You can pack light as you won't need towels. You get an abundance of them.
Venus is very quiet in the evenings so prepare for taxis to the centres each night. Costs have risen recently so about 10euros each way.
If you are going to self cater, then there is a spar about 1/2 mile away for supplies. We don't and as we like a big breakfast, then the onsite restaurant is well worth the 28 euro per couple/day.
Snacks are readily available during the day and in our opinion the evening menu is limited and for that reason we eat out in the centres.
If you are comfortable driving, then a hire car can be of benefit. We hire from airport. Beginning of month we paid 130 for 10 days. Venus transfers are 45 each way so 90 all in. Meant we had hire car for 40 euros lol.
