A dilapidated 1970s concrete monstrosity, the basement is not somewhere you want to go during the day when you can see around lol
Some of the shops still have their stocks of cameras and cassette players from the good old days
Lots of great swingers clubs and a few nice restaurants though  |

You definitely feel like you might end up in a horror movie while walking around the basement, but that just makes it more fun.
If somewhere looks derelict, keep going because there's probably a bar or club past the derelict section! It's like no other place.

Best way to navigate the Cita is to head in from Avenida de Alemania (Leaning Tower of Pisa side).
Walk in and you’ll see stairs going down and stairs going up. From the down perspective, immediately you’ve got Secret and Fun4All on the right. Typically, this is where you finish the night. But if you’re walk straight you’ll pass Klamotte, Temptations on the corner, left last Lux, then right and you’re by Tantra. Opposite Tantra are the stairs to go up and out of the Cita from the Avenida de Francia (Eiffel Tower side).
Now upstairs can be tricky but when you climb the stairs and you’ve got Mach Bar in front of you, imagine the three pronged fork. If you go straight, you’ll get to Comeback, if you turn left past Marco Polo and Carlos V, then right so the left prong of the fork, you’ll reach Before. If you go right, then left you’ll reach Black Bulldog. Then you’ve got Reenies at the top of the centre and right prongs of the fork (between Comeback and Black bulldog).
To add to the maze, you know have Mario’s. So instead of going up or down, walk straight ahead and turn right at the sex shop. Walk towards the other sex shop and turn left. Then walk straight until you get to the Spar supermarket and up a few steps and you’ll get to Mario’s. If you veered left, then you will be on the Cita plaza (terrace), which means you should have veered right.
