We are thinking of booking 5 nights towards end of September is it best to book through a travel agent if so what hotels are good and near the the action or is it best to book on a site like mirage direct |

booking through agents at the moment seems the expensive way of doing it. I found that selecting your flights direct with the airline then using Expedia or Booking.com gives you more flexibility and better value, transfers are very easy to book by local bus shuttle bus or private taxi. I always used to use Jet2 but their flight times out and back are rubbish times. Ryanair was much better for flight times to GC....

We are back out to Gran Canaria 11th to 21st September. 4 weeks today . Can't wait for the daily count down to start.
We have an apartment in Las Palmas but do like our sexy days and nights in PDI.

We usually go for who has the best offer at the time in relation to mobile data allowance. We find the €10 buys easily enough for a week but if we're stopping 2 normally spend €15. The big providers are movistar Vodafone and orange . We just activate the Spanish SIM and put it in our mobile dongle and Fiona puts it in her handbag when we go out so we can both use 5G WiFi for the duration of the holiday .

Just a thought - do you have a big data allowance normally? If so, you could consider just adding "free roaming" to your existing plan? Not sure if it's cheaper because I don't know the financials behind your existing plan. |

When you ring EE make sure you get put through to "retentions". If you have been EE for a long time your loyalty should work in your favour 👍🏽 |

Not been since just after covid.
