PDI - Places to eat
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hey all, we’re heading to PDI in October. It’s not our first time, we’ve been a few times.
This, however is our first Air BnB trip and we’re looking for nice places to eat. The Tipsy Hammock is a fav but not really explored beyond.
Bars; well that’s easy. We’re just looking for recommendations on places to eat. (Edens guide is a great help but love some up to date opinions)
Thanks xx |

Some of them are :
- Lola
- Calma Chicha
- Wapa Tapa
- Social Tapas
- Travieso
- Alma Gaia
- Lovin Food
Keep in mind that for some of them , you will need to make reservations .
Enjoy , and welcome to Peaches as well obviously

Just few to add to the establishments mentioned above:
El chacho (mexican in the yumbo)
Windsor Gardens, also in yumbo (nothing to write home about just standard holiday fair but inexpensive, quick and the staff are friendly).
Taj (Indian, on sea front)
Pantai kuta (Indonesian, just up from the plays del sol hotel)
Tribal lounge on the sea front for burgers.
Greek village....way better then Mr greek
El poncho, near cita reservation a good idea, steak
Marco polo top floor cita also good for steak
For Chinese then Asia house near cc Ronda. All you can eat but not a buffet. Innovador, half way between yumbo and cita, runs on a similar system and is nearly as good. |

The la perla negra on the ground floor of the Cita is amazing.
It doesn't look much from outside and the food is cooked to order so you might have to wait but it is honestly worth it. Probably some of the best food we've had in pdi.
Also Asia city for a Chinese meal is lovely. We always look forward to eating at both restaurants. |

•Ristorante Il Pomodoro - Italian in Cita, just down from Black Bulldog in Cita, looks basic but food is great.
•Marco Polo - in Cita, great steaks.
•Los Porches - family run traditional food, great service and friendly staff, big portions, half way between Gold and Cita.
•Wapa Tapa - Yumbo, but might need to book.
•Mana 264 - ground floor in yumbo.

Or chips in Pepe Cheringo at 4am after the Cita … "
Don't think they open late any more but there's a new kebab shop in the basement of cita |

Xx
Cheers that will be my first night taken care of "
At home we are spoiled for choice with good indian resturants. Honestly, this place was up there with them. A little less spicy than we are used to, not a bad thing, just a little different. |

We agree with this whole heartedly, it is an excellent place to eat.
We'd still champion Cafe Munchen in Cita for good, honest platefuls and stupidly cheap prices! |
