There are lots of naturist beaches on the mainland but finding one close to a resort area is a bit more difficult. I suppose it would depend on your definition of close.
Barcelona city would be on the list. there are quite a few within and close to the city. Platja de la Mar Bella being the most popular.
For something more "resort" orientated Sitges would be worth a look. Platja dels Balmins is close to the town.
In our area (Costa Blanca south) there is Platja Els Tussals AKA La Marina beach) next to Guardamar. Great beach with dunes/forest behind but you would need a car if you wanted to be close to bars restaurants as well.
The are one or two down on the Costa del Sol but we don't know that much about them. |

After a quick look at your profile (noticed you've been to Cap d'Agde a time or two) I would add that Vera is about as good as it gets on mainland Spain.
There is nothing even remotely close to Cap. |

We have visited many of the places recommended by Hotlove and we spent 4 days at the Playa Vera naturist hotel last month and it was great. Hotel is a little pricy as the season gets going but food a drinks are on par with most of the local bars |
