Benidorm August roll call

I went to benidorm in August a couple of years ago and wouldn't go back at that time of the year. It's Spanish holiday time and most of the bars are very quiet. A lot of the little British bars close down for the month. |

First time in Benidorm with a mate.
Looking for a couple of nice bars to chill out , some real fun bars and generally any thing in between ..
Or even avoid like the plague .
Any suggestions welcome  |

The ones I could see didn't have much chat about actual bars, or were old posts

Pretty much yes. We live nearby and popped into The Western about 8pm last Thu and it was dead. Going for a vanilla night out on Tue so hoping it's better later on. |

No, it's not a load of crap. Beni is MUCH quieter in July and Aug.
I live nearby and go about once a month for a night out. The summer is dead compared to Spring and Autumn.
Think about it, why would you go there in summer? It's crazy hot, and expensive. The people who go then have to, because they have kids.
Anyome without kids goes in the cooler, cheaper months because they can. The difference between mid June and mid July is crazy. |

No, but it is quieter than spring and autumn for sure. There are more families with kids, because why would you come in Aug if you didn't have too? It expensive and hot lol. |

Just back from my first trip .
Who ever said it's quiet in August , I don't think I could handle it.
From the beach to the old town and on the strip was heaving every where we went.
Maybe some bars were quiet but you just went to the next one or an area it was busier or had more atmosphere .

I’m going the 31st August to the 5th September with family and friends, I’m gonna be looking to meet people for drinks and or fun or even a stroll along the beach at night, always find fun at night walking along lavante beach naked or with shorts on  |
