How windy are the Canaries in November

Looking grabbing some early winter sun. Been once in November to Tenerife and it was really windy - we were told unseasonably so. 30mph+ and we tried a beach one afternoon which didn’t last long as sand blasted. is this the norm for that time of year - or is it pot luck. I know there is usually a breeze but want to be able to enjoy soaking up the sun without the wind spoiling it.

Any thoughts, tips or locations (nude sunbathing part of any hotels particularly welcome!) appreciated

We go to Tenerife every November and have only ever experienced 1 proper windy day mate. It's a great time to visit in our experience

The Canaries are always windier at the beach in our experience. If it's a windy day maybe go to the hotel pool or go sightseeing inland?
