Magic Life, Jandia Princess and probably more. The beaches around Jandia and Esquinzo (and others further north) are clothing optional but usually self segregating into naturist and textile. |

There are a couple of good beaches at Costa Calma - one right at the south end of the resort (playa Esmeralda) which although clothing optional is mostly naturist. A 2nd beach just a short walk further south is slightly larger and similar. I have been using both these beaches for a number of years and prefer them to El Cotillo.
I don't know of any hotels at this resort with private areas for naturists.... |

Don't come to Fuerteventura expecting a PDI-like experience. Despite what you read on Fab there is very little opportunity to swing: there are no clubs, no meeting places and almost no play on the beaches. "Who's near" on Fab is your best chance. We should know - we have lived here for ten years. However almost all the beaches are clothing optional so there's plenty of opportunities to get naked. |

What’s the weather like in January- is it a lot cooler?"
The weather doesn't change much over the year, though some months are windier than others. Last January temperatures hit 40C, though that is unusual. They normally are mid 20s, though the evenings can be much cooler. |

Have a look for the BHH Resort in Costa Calma. It's a small naturist guest house with a pool. It's be a great place to start with.
You'll see naturists on every beach from Costa Calma south.
We've been there a few times and will be back again, possibly as soon as December.
I can vouch for all that's said above - especially Playa Esmerelda; definitely one of my favourite beaches ever.
We should certainly look out for one another there.

Esmerelda is basically set into a cove between two bluffs. So the beach and backdrop create the shape of a large amphitheatre.
You can hunker down if it's windy and there are many 'corralitos' or 'zuccos', I think, (the small circles composed of stone walls) and other niches available behind the beach and up the gentle hill should it get very windy. However, as you might expect, these are much sought after by the early comers.
Many of the enclosures and the beach itself have sunbeds and parasols, for which a small payment (to the local council) will be requested by a roving collector.
Down on the beach it tends to be nice and calm most of the time. The water itself is perfectly safe for swimming, with no undersea rocks etc.
Things it has going for it is that it's a short walk from the town and isn't backed by a large hotel, so many don't go to it. As usual, that's also a disadvantage as there are few facilities close by. So perhaps bring your own drinks and lunch if you're there for the day!

BHH is a great naturist resort, small but perfectly formed. Stayed there at the end of August. Karie runs a great place, a car is handy though it’s a bit of a walk to the shops, never mind the beach. Hope to be back there in the New Year myself |

We've been to the beach (Playa Esmerelda) many times and have never found it 'too windy'. |

"There's a great little nudist beach in Costa Calma. It's the beach below H10 Tindaya hotel. We spent our days there last week. Just remember to bring your drinks/snacks etc as it's a bit of a hike to the shop x "

I take it you do mean Playa Esmerelda, that's being discussed above?
Also, I see you had a look at my profile and note your status, about which I'm intrigued. Was that comment re Costa Calma all down to the beach? Or were there other attractions that I may have missed?

Just organised another couple of trips to CC - a week in December and two in January.
Looking forward to Playa Esmerelda and all the other playas - plenty of naked sunbathing, swimming and coastal walking, if not more! |

The nude or FKK area is accessed via the fire escape at the end of the middle block of accomodation. Its got a shelter & sunbeds & when ive been its been quiet but it does the job |

Infiniti is a nudist resort in Correlejo with several sc apartments & a lovely pool which caters just for nudist couples !
After enjoying a fab two weeks naked there last June we would highly recommend this venue & intend to stay there again the same time !

I'm off to KN Matas Blancas Hotel in Costa Calma which has a Naturist Solarium in August/September.
