The problems appear to be that the technology hasn't lived up to the aspiration.
We flew through Orly Airport in Paris a couple of months ago and after the first 6 passengers, the authorities saw the slow admissions and reverted back to traditional methods to avoid queues forming. |

I arrived and had no delay, the staff were all sitting down, jumped up to help as they saw passengers approaching and no problem. I was dreading it and was really impressed how smooth it was. Friday 6th, and the Edinburgh flight arrived about 2pm and no issues at all.  |
